What is a tipi, and how is it different from a marquee?
A tipi is a freestanding Nordic-style tent structure made from natural canvas, supported by tall wooden poles. Unlike a traditional marquee, tipis have a distinctive peaked silhouette and can be linked together to create larger connected spaces. They offer a more rustic, atmospheric feel while still providing full weather protection.
 

What types of events do you cater for?
We specialise in weddings but also cater for private parties, corporate events, festivals, and celebrations of all kinds. If you are planning a milestone birthday, anniversary, or company gathering, get in touch, and we can talk through what works best for your event.
 

How many guests can the tipis accommodate?
Our tipis can be configured to suit a wide range of guest numbers. Individual tipis can be linked together to scale up the space, meaning we can comfortably accommodate intimate gatherings through to larger celebrations (max 180 seated, 270 standing). Contact us with your guest count, and we will recommend the right configuration.
 

Can I use my own venue or land?
Yes. We can install our tipis on private land, estates, farms, and a wide variety of outdoor settings. We will carry out a site visit in advance to assess access, ground conditions, and layout options. We also work with a number of partner venues if you are still looking for a location.
 

What happens if it rains?
Our tipis are fully weatherproof structures, engineered to withstand typical British conditions. The canvas walls can be adjusted to manage ventilation or provide a full enclosure depending on the weather. Your guests will be warm, dry, and comfortable whatever the forecast.
 

What is included in the hire?
Our packages include the tipi structure, flooring, lighting, toilets and a generator as standard (unless instructed otherwise). We also offer a range of add-ons, including furniture, bars, fire pits, and decorative extras. A full breakdown of what is included will be provided in your quote.
 

Can I decorate the tipi myself?
Absolutely. You are welcome to decorate the interior to suit your theme and style. We are happy to advise on what works well in the space, and can recommend trusted suppliers for flowers, lighting, and styling if needed.

Do you provide catering?
We do not provide catering directly, but we work with a network of recommended caterers and are happy to point you in the right direction. We can also supply a separate catering tent with hard flooring and lighting for the kitchen team if required.

How long does installation take?
Installation typically takes place two days before your event so you have a full day to decorate. The exact timing will depend on the size of the setup and site conditions. Our experienced crew will handle everything, and you will be given a full handover before your event begins.
